Of all the popular party sweets, cake pops are the ones which I consider fun making and eating! Especially when they’re filled with chocolate or cocoa sponge cake, some good jam, a bit of spices and some rum 😉 !
This version is inspired by my favorite cream cheese spread, ABC Cream Cheese and is suitable and really fun for kids! They’re gonna love making and eating it! As well as the grown-ups!
ABC Strawberry Cheesecake Pops
Ingredients (for approx. 24 pieces):
250 g ABC cream cheese
50 ml double cream
15 g powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
a bit of lemon zest
100 g finely chopped strawberries
200 g butter cookie crumbs (Petit Beurre / McVitie’s)
Other:
400 g white chocolate
24 wooden skewers
desired decoration
Preparation:
Mix cream cheese ton soften it up a bit. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, double cream and mix by hand. Mix in cookies crumbs and strawberries. Leave in a freezer for an hour. Using wet hands, form approximately 24 uniform balls, pierce them with a wooden skewer and put back in the freezer for a couple of hours. Melt white chocolate, dip skewers in white chocolate, stick them into pops and leave in the fridge for a couple of minutes. Dip every cake pop in white chocolate, strain the excess chocolate, decorate as desired. Store in the fridge.
ABC Cheesecake Pops s jagodama
Sastojci (za otprilike 24 kom):
250 g ABC cream cheese
50 ml slatkog vrhnja
15 g šećera u prahu
1 žličica ekstrakta vanilije
malo ribane korice limuna
100 g sitno sjeckanih jagoda
200 g usitnjenih keksa s maslacem (Petit Beurre / McVitie’s)
Ostalo:
400 g bijele čokolade
24 drvena štapića za ražnjiće
željena dekoracija
Priprema:
Izmiksajte sir da malo omekša. Dodajte šećer u prahu, vaniliju, koricu limuna i slatko vrhnje te umiješajte rukom. Dodajte usitnjene kekse i jagode. Promiješajte. Ostavite smjesu u zamrzivaču sat vremena. Mokrim rukama uzimajte komadiće smjese i oblikujte otprilike 24 podjednake kuglice, probušite ih štapićem i vratite u zamrzivač na par sati. Otopite bijelu čokoladu, umočite štapiće i stavite ih u kuglice, vratite u hladnjak na koju minutu pa svaku kuglicu umočite u bijelu čokoladu, ocijedite višak, ukrasite po želji. Čuvajte u frižideru.
Napomena:
Možete ih položiti na papir za pečenje i servirati ih poput pralina sa štapićem ili gotove štapiće zataknuti u stiropor, staviti u čašu i servirati poput lizalica.
